THAT the following item be added to the agenda of the July 3, 2014 meeting of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee pursuant to the Procedure By-law, subsection 84(3)

a building permit is required for the legalization of garage at 5207 Bank Street which is understood to have been constructed in the 1990’s; and Whereas it is desirable for this legalization to be resolved as soon as possible;and Whereas a garage has been present on the site since the 1990’s; and Whereas the applicable municipal development charges in force today are $34,454.76 and the municipal development charges in force in 1999 were $4451.37; and Whereas it is deemed appropriate that the 1999 charges be confirmed as the amount to be collected; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee recommend to Council that the development charges applicable to the garage at 5207 Bank Street be confirmed to be $4451.37 provided that the building permit be obtained prior to September 30th, 2014.
