THAT the Environment Committee approve the addition of the following items for consideration by the Committee at today’s meeting, pursuant to section 84(3) of the Procedure By-law: · Communication: Letter from Ontario Minister of the Environment, Jim Bradley, re. Province’s Permit to Take Water Program in response to a letter sent by Chair McRae and Nancy Schepers to the Minister requesting that the Ministry of the Environment consider implementing a pilot project with the City of Ottawa that is reflective of its current arrangement with the Ministry of Transportation. · Communication: Letter from Ontario Minister of the Environment, Jim Bradley, addressing matters raised at a meeting with Minister Bradley that was held during the 2012 Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference. · Verbal Presentation: Update on West-end Water Transmission Mains Inspection.
